In her artistic work, she uses photography, film, screenwriting, poems, various media and techniques of painting and drawing. Hanne Kiiveri has been called a pioneer of visual and media art. Kiiveri’s artistic production is characterized by artistic originality, familiarity with the history of art and a vision that reflects its time. Artist-photographer Hanne Kiiveri’s art projects are both topical and timeless. The artist is interested in socially difficult topics that she deals with with a deep sense of humor, questioning, or sarcasm. Kiiveri has also collaborated on international animation and media art. She has had numerous exhibitions of her own and participated in group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. Kiiveri is a very experienced art professional and technically fully skilled in media use. She swears in the name of equal interaction in the teaching of art. -1998-2022 Hanne Kiiveri works in Finland as a freelance photographer for several newspapers and magazines as well as theater, music, fashion and private sector publications. -2016-Hanne Kiiveri teaches modern icon painting and fine arts in St Paul’s parish -2015- Kiiveri returned to Finland in 2015. The artist works on her own art projects as well as on commissioned work and in collaboration with the artists’ in photography, writing, illustration and music projects. -2008-2015 Kiiveri lived in France. She worked as a screenwriter-designer for the TV series Mimosa Mind´s Eye -Travels in 2011-2014 with a screenwriting grant and advance production support from the Finnish Film Foundation. Hobbies: Cycling, swimming, Astanga yoga, reading, live gigs, subcultures. Music lyrics and poems, she has collaborated with music professionals. Her poems are very visual and intensely powerful.
